D Doorman

Everybody needs a doorman

You hand it the mail that matters. It files it into the life underneath, and stays quiet until you ask.

Doorman is not watching your inbox. Forward a thread, CC it on a send, or Bcc a copy — only what you give it gets filed into the matters and people that make up your life. What it learns is memory you can read, correct, and later ask — in the app, or from any AI you already use.

  1. 1 · Give it mail

    Forward, CC, or Bcc

Your address is a drop box, not a mailbox takeover. Nothing arrives unless you put it there.

  2. 2 · It builds memory

    Matters, people, what's owed

Three threads about the same client become one thing — status, who is involved, what still needs to happen.

  3. 3 · Ask it back

Chat here, or plug in your agent

Open a session in the app, or connect Claude, ChatGPT, or any harness over MCP or a simple API.

Only what you give it

No inbox sync, no labels, no sending as you. Doorman only ever sees copies you forward, CC, or Bcc — and never sends mail in your name.

Matters, not messages

It organizes around the situations in your life, not a folder of mail. New copies land on the matter they belong to; the status stays current.

It notices absence

The quote nobody sent. The reply that never came. Doorman tracks what's owed and by whom, and tells you once — never twice about the same thing without new information.

Memory you can read

Everything it knows is plain text you can open, correct, and export. No black box, no settings screen pretending to be understanding.

Ask in the app

Start a chat session against your own tree — what's stalled on Clearpath, who owes you a reply, what changed this week — answered from the memory you've been filing.

Bring your own agent

The same query layer ships as MCP and a small API, so Claude, OpenAI, or a CLI harness can read your matters without inventing a second brain.
